Abstract (Croatian)
U ovom radu istraživan je utjecaj parametara plinskog naštrcavanja na svojstva nanešenog sloja. U uvodu rada obrazložena je motivacija za istraživački rad te je dan kratki pregled dosadašnjih spoznaja u domeni toplinskog, posebno plinskog naštrcavanja, s naglaskom na izradu slojeva čija je prvenstvena svrha zaštita od korozije. \Navedeni su i razni znanstveni pristupi, odnosno znanstvene metode koje se danas koriste u svrhu modeliranja postupaka toplinskog naštrcavanja. U ovom dijelu rada su definirane i hipoteze rada te je određena metodologija eksperimentalnog dijela rada. U drugom poglavlju predstavljena je tehnologija toplinskog naštrcavanja, a posebna pozornost posvećena je plinskom naštrcavanju. Objašnjen je način nastanka sloja kao i ključni pojmovi za razumijevanje problematike izrade sloja željenih svojstava pomoću tehnologije toplinskog naštrcavanja. Obrađeno je naštrcavanje slojeva aluminija u svrhu zaštite od korozije, objašnjeni su načini na temelju kojih štićenom metalu pružaju zaštitu od korozije te su pojašnjeni razlozi za ispitivanje svojstava koji su navedeni u uvodu rada. Dan je uvid u metode kojima je moguće izvršiti potrebna mjerenja. U trećem, eksperimentalnom dijelu rada, opisana je provedba eksperimenta u Laboratoriju za alatne strojeve Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje sustavom za robotizirano naštrcavanje ½Castolin Castodyn DS 8000½. U toku provođenja eksperimenta na čelične limove S 235 JR su naštrcani slojevi čistog aluminija plinskim postupkom. Pokusi su provedeni prema plošno centriranom centralno-kompozitnom planu pokusa. Ispitivana je prionljivost, debljina, korozijski potencijal i polarizacijski otpor naštrcanog sloja, parametri hrapavosti sloja Ra i Rz te brzina korozije. Ispitivanja prionljivosti slojeva provedena su u Laboratoriju za ispitivanje mehaničkih svojstava, ispitivanja debljine slojeva uzoraka provedena su u Laboratoriju za zavarivanje, korozijska postojanost slojeva mjerena je u Laboratoriju za zaštitu materijala, a hrapavost naštrcane površine slojeva mjerena je u Laboratoriju za precizna mjerenja dužina te u Laboratoriju za alatne strojeve Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje u Zagrebu. U četvrtom dijelu rada su prikazani rezultati ispitivanja naštrcanih slojeva. Provedena je statistička obrada rezultata mjerenja i matematičko modeliranje metodom odzivnih površina. Izrađeni su matematički modeli ovisnosti ispitivanih veličina o ulaznim (tehnološkim) parametrima procesa plinskog naštrcavanja. U petom dijelu rada analizirani su rezultati, a u šestom je dijelu rada na temelju stečenih saznanja predložen smjer daljnjih istraživanja.
Abstract
Dependence of properties of oxy-fuel sprayed layers upon input parameters of process has been investigated. In the introductory part of the thesis, motivation for the research has been presented, together with short survey of current knowledge in the field of thermal spraying, particularly in the field of oxy-fuel spraying. Attention has been directed to production of layers intended as protection against corrosion. Also, different scientific approaches, i.e. methods applied currently in modeling of thermal spraying process have been presented. Starting hypothesis for the thesis has been defined as well as methodology for experimental procedure. In the second part of the thesis technology of thermal spraying has been presented, particular interest being devoted to oxy-fuel spraying. Formation of the layer has been explained, together with the key concepts, understanding of which is necessary for producing of required layers when technology of thermal spraying is applied. Aluminum based layers intended as corrosion protection are mentioned, mechanisms providing protection against corrosion to the protected metal are explained and reasons for testing of properties listed in the introductory part are given. Basic concepts of methods that can enable required measurements are given. In the third part of the thesis, conduct of experiment made in The Laboratory for Machine Tools of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture applying “ Castolin Castodyn DS 8000” system for robotized spraying has been described. Within frame of experiment, layers of pure aluminium have been applied to the plates made of grade S 235 JR steel using oxy-fuel spraying process. Experiment has been performed according surface-centered central-composite planed experiment. Following properties of layers have been investigated: adherence, thickness, corrosion potential, corrosion propagation rate, polarization resistance and surface roughness parameters Ra and Rz. Testing of adherence has been made in the Laboratory for Mechanical Properties Testing, testing of layer thickness was made in the Laboratory for Welding, testing of corrosion resistance was made in Laboratory for Protection of Materials, while testing of roughness was made in Laboratory for Precise Measurement od Length and Laboratory for Machine Tools. Obtained results have been presented in the fourth part of the thesis. Statistical processing of measured data and mathematical modeling has been done applying method of response surfaces. Mathematical models depicting relationships between investigated properties and input parameters of oxy-fuel spraying process have been developed. In the fifth part of the thesis the results have been analysed, and in the sixth part of the thesis certain suggestions and proposals for new directions of investigation based on the gained knowledge are given.
