Abstract (Croatian)

Sustav upravljanja automobila koji istodobno zakreće sva četiri kotača (4WS) mole uz pravilan izbor kutova zakretanja prednjih i stražnjih kotača povećati dinamičku stabilnost pri većim brzinama. Prednosti ovakvog upravljanja uočljive su u trenucima iznenadne promjene kuta bočnog skretanja (kuta plivanja). Tada dolazi do naglog povećanja centrifugalne sile, koja generira novi poremećaj - povećanje bočnih reakcija i deformacija pneumatika, te smanjenje polumjera zakretanja automobila i dodatno povećanje centrifugalne sile. Zakretanjem stražnjih kotaca u smjeru prednjih, djelomično se ili potpuno kompenzira nepovoljan utjecaj bočnog zanošenja te sprječava pojava preupravljivosti, koja dovodi do nestabilnosti. Regulacijom sustava zakretanja stražnjih kotaca, temeljenom na povratnoj vezi od svih bitnih faktora dinamičke stabilnosti, moguće je doprinjeti optimalizaciji sustava 4WS i povećanju dinamičke stabilnosti automobila. Do sada su, kao regulacijski parametri, korišteni kut zakretanja prednjih kotaca, brzine vožnje, brzina rotacije automobila oko vertikalne osi i kut plivanja. U ovom je radu optimalizacija sustava upravljanja pomoću četiri kotača unaprijeđena uvođenjem i petog regulacijskog parametra - bočnog ubrzanja. Sustavno su analizirani odzivi po brzini rotacije automobila oko vertikalne osi, kutu plivanja i bočnom ubrzanju, na zakretanje volana prema ispitnoj proceduri ISO 7401 Temeljni je zaključak ovog rada, da se optimalizacijom sustava upravljanja pomoću četiri upravljiva kotača (4WS) uk1jučivanjem i bočnog ubrzanja, kao petog regulacijskog parametra. doprinosi povećanju dinamičke stabilnosti i poboljšanju voznih svojstava automobila.

Abstract

The steering system for synchronous turning of all four car wheels (4W,5), with opti¬mal selection of steering angles of front and rear wheels, can improve the car dynamic stability at high speeds. The advantages of this steering system are evident in the moments of sudden changes of the car side slip angle. These changes result in the rash increment of centrifugal force, which generates new disturbances - the increase of lateral reactions, tyre distorsion, the decrease of the car turning radius and additional increase of centrifugal force. Turning the rear wheels in the same direction as the front wheels compensates, par¬tially or completely, the unfavourable influence of the car side slip caused by tyre distortion and in this way the oversteer leading to non-stability is prevented. It is possible to improve the optimisation of 4WS system and to increase the car dy¬namic stability by the regulation of the rear wheel steering system, which is based on the feed-back of all essential factors of dynamic stability. The front wheel turning angle, car speed, angular velocity of the car turning and car side slip angle have been used so far as the regulation parameters. In this work the optimi¬zation of four wheel steering system is improved introducing the fifth regulation parameter - lateral acceleration. The responses of angular velocity of the car turning, car side slip angle and lateral acceleration, on the front wheel turning angle, are systematically analysed using the test procedure ISO 7401. The main conclusion of this work is that optimization of the four wheel steering sys-:em 4W3S) based on the introduction of lateral acceleration, as the fifth regulation param¬eter. can improve the car dynamic stability and driving performances.
