Abstract (Croatian)

U radu se istražuje utjecaj tvrdoće podloge na trajnost tankih tvrdih prevlaka. Istraživanje je provedeno na DLC i CrN prevlakama na podlozi tvrdoće 9 – 62 HRC. Prevlakama je izmjerena tvrdoća, modul elastičnosti i debljina. Nakon karakterizacije, istraživan je utjecaj tvrdoće podloge na adheziju prevlake i osnovnog materijala testom brazdanja. Ispitana je otpornost DLC i CrN prevlaka na abraziju pomoću dvije laboratorijske metode: "suhi pijesak / gumeni kotac" i metodom pomoću kugle. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata uspoređena je i analizirana primjenljivost metoda. Trošenje prevlaka je kvantificirano pomoću faktora trošenja. Prevlakama je ispitana otpornost na eroziju u ovisnosti o tvrdoći podloge. Dobiveni rezultati poslužili su za izradbu kvantitativnih modela za predviđanje trajnosti prevlaka za različite tvrdoće podloge i za različita opterećenja tribosustava. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata definirane su i smjernice za daljnja istraživanja s ciljem optimalnog modeliranja tribosustava."

Abstract

The dissertation studies the influence of substrate hardness on the wear resistance of thin hard coatings. The research was carried out on DLC and CrN coatings on specimen substrate of 9 – 62 HRC hardness. Coatings were characterised by their hardness, Young modulus and thickness. Subsequently, the influence of substrate hardness on the adhesion of the coating and basic material by scratch test was studied. Two laboratory methods were used to test the resistance of DLC and CrN coatings on abrasion, the "dry sand / rubber wheel" and the ball crater test. The obtained results were used to compare and analyse the applicability of these methods. Coating wear was quantified by means of the wear factor. Coatings were characterised by their resistance to erosion depending on the substrate hardness. The obtained results were used to develop quantitative models for forecasting of coating durability for various substrate hardness and for different tribo-system loadings. The results were used to define also the guidelines for further research with the aim of optimal tribo-system modelling.
