Abstract

Anthropological data is one of the most needed factors , toward ergonomical valorization of crew working spaces . Due to time consuming and high expenses of anthropometrical researches , the desired anthropological data in designing workplaces and accommodation are estimated instead of direct measuring. Using this method , the data for the basic different working and living postures are determined and appropriate proposals for real cases are given . As a micro-study , the " work posture analysis" using " pulling force experiment" is performed based on the obtained data in order to determine lumbar moment , intra-abdominal pressure and intra-abdominal force as a measure of evaluating and comparing the different crew work position . Afterwords ,some cases of real work postures are studied and appropriate proposals have made out as a result , in order to reduce the pressure and fatigue on the crew . As a macro-study , " the crew work posture analysis " was carried out by data collection from real cases . The most probable work postures in ship's different spaces were classified and after a few corrections the work place profile and its grade were determined . " Statistical analysis for real ship's spaces" are performed , as another macro-study , in order to show some designed real ship spaces taking in to consideration allocated volume. Modem scientific methods , including micro and macro study , are used in this work , which would attribute it a new approach for ergonomical study of crew workplaces and accommodation .
