Abstract (Croatian)

Pristup osnivanju broda kao komercijalnog proizvoda mora obuhvatiti cjelokupno razdoblje života broda. To za projektanta znaci predviđanje okolišnih uvjeta pri kojima ce brod poslovati kao i predviđanje istih. Najpovoljniji projekt tankera bio bi izabran vodeći računa i o tehničkim i ekonomskim kriterijima. U ovom radu tehnički proračuni svedeni su na proračune koji bitnije pridonose kvaliteti projekta uzimajući u obzir da ce tokom razvoja projekta doći i do njihovog mijenjanja, ali ne u većoj mjeri. Tehnički kriteriji osiguravaju tehničku izvedivost rješenja, a ocjenu daju ekonomski kriteriji. Svako daljnje mijenjanje tehničkih elemenata odn. netočnost u dobivanju optimuma neće ugroziti ekonomsko vrednovanje varijanti. Kao ekonomski kriterij izbora najpovoljnijeg projekta izabran je kriterij zahtjevne vozarine, jer se njime utjecaj nestalnosti na tržištu vozarina na dobiveni rezultat zanemaruje. Ekonomski proračuni obuhvaćaju cjelokupno razdoblje života broda počevši od kupnje novogradnje i s tim povezanih troškova do odlaska broda u rezalište. Analiziran je utjecaj promjene pojedinih parametara kao što su brzina prekrcaja broda, duljina kružne plovidbe i brzina broda. Rezultati upućuju na zak1jučak da je neophodna suradnja projektanata u brodogradilištu i brodara pri stvaranju najpovoljnijeg projekta broda.

Abstract

An approach for the every commercial ship design must comprise the whole life of the ship. The choice of the best solution from many alternatives will be based on the technical and economic criteria. Economics is an important measure of merit which demands from designer to know and to predict the market and how the ship will be employed. Generating possible design alternatives are based upon the ship design requirements which determine feasible region. It is extremely important for the designer to know what can achieve and what are the consequences for his solution. In this work, the technical calculations will include only the estimate of the elements which are the essential one for the contribution to more quality design. These elements will be change during the development of the project but in a certain degree that can not affect on the optimal project. Technical criteria insure technical feasibility of the solution while the measure of merit will be based on economic consideration. The later change of other technical elements will not make worse economic measure of the project. Selected objective function is economic criteria based on the required freight rate. This criteria include full life of the ship beginning from the cost of the ship acquisition to the sales for the demolition. On that way, the result for the optimum project does not depend on the fluctuation of revenue caused by the fluctuation of the freight rates on the tanker market. The influence of the change of the project parameters such as the port time spent for loading/unloading the ship, the length of the round voyage and the speed of the ship is analysed. The results suggest that in the making the best project of the ship designers in the shipyard must cooperate with the owner to get economical solution which will enlarge the competitiveness of the owner.
