U ovom radu razvijen je i opisan dinamički model sustava brodskog rashladnog kontejnera kojiomogućuje simulaciju njegova dinamičkog ponašanja. Za modeliranje i simulaciju koristilo se metodomsistemske dinamike. Ispitivanje je provedeno na 12,2-metarskom (40-stopnom) rashladnom kontejneruoznake 1 AAA opremljenom integralnim rashladnim uređajem Thermo King, model CRR40 PS. Sobzirom na to da je sustav brodskog rashladnog kontejnera složeni dinamički sustav, promatran je ianaliziran s pomoću jednostavnijih podsustava koji su kreirani tako da čine njegove komponente.Razvijeni su posebni matematički modeli pojedinih podsustava: kontejnerske stijenke, hlađenogvlažnog zraka u kontejneru, hlađenog predmeta, kondenzacijske jedinice, isparivača, kontejnerskeopreme, ventilatora isparivača i grijača odmrzivača. Matematički modeli, koji su s usredotočenimparametrima, zasnovani su na masenim i energijskim bilancama. Njima su opisane uzročno--posljedične veze između ulaznih, izlaznih i internih varijabli procesa koji se odvijaju u promatranimpodsustavima i vremenski tijek promjena tih varijabli. Na temelju postavljenih matematičkih modela i konstrukcijskih karakteristika ispitivanogkontejnera i njegova rashladnog agregata izrađeni su simulacijski modeli pojedinih podsustava.Povezivanjem svih simulacijskih modela dobiven je kontinuirani simulacijski model cjelokupnogsustava brodskog rashladnog kontejnera. Izradba simulacijskog modela i računalna simulacijaprovedena je s pomoću simulacijskog programskog jezika Powersim. Računalnom simulacijomdobiveni su rezultati postavljenoga matematičkog modela, koji omogućuju praktično sagledavanjedinamičkog ponašanja promatranog sustava, tj. analizu stanja zraka u kontejneru, promjenetemperature hlađenog predmeta i praćenje međusobnog utjecaja pojedinih parametara. Rezultatisimulacije prikazani su u grafičkom obliku. Pojedinačni razvijeni dinamički modeli pripadajućihpodsustava potvrđeni su usporedbom simulacijskih rezultata ili s rezultatima dobivenima analitičkimproračunom ili s intuitivno očekivanim rezultatima. Dinamički model cjelokupnog sustava verificiran jetemeljem usporedbe simulacijskih rezultata s postojećim eksperimentalnim rezultatima dobivenima naispitivanom kontejnerskom sustavu, pri čemu je ustanovljena dobra podudarnost.U radu je također dan opsežan pregled dosadašnjih istraživanja na području dinamičkogmodeliranja rashladnih uređaja, dizalica topline i njihovih komponenti. Definiran je pojam kontejnera,posebno su opisani rashladni kontejneri uz detaljan opis ispitivanog rashladnog kontejnera, a dan je isadržaj standardnih ispitivanja kojima podliježu kontejneri. Izložene su i osnovne ideje sistemskedinamike – metode za modeliranje i simulaciju dinamičkih sustava s pomoću koje je u ovom radurazvijen dinamički model sustava brodskog rashladnog kontejnera. U prilogu je dan simulacijski modelu obliku tekstualnog zapisa i rezultati postojećih eksperimentalnih toplinskih ispitivanja.

Abstract

A dynamic model of a ship’s refrigerated container system for simulation of its dynamicbehaviour has been developed and described in this master’s thesis. The method of System Dynamicswas used for modelling and simulation. The research was conducted on a 12,2-metre (40-foot)refrigerated container mark 1 AAA equipped with an integral refrigeration plant Thermo King, modelCRR40 PS. As the ship’s refrigerated container system is a complex dynamic system, it was observedand analysed through simpler subsystems created on the key components. Specific mathematicalmodels were made for individual subsystems: container wall, refrigerated humid air in the container,refrigerated goods, condensation unit, evaporator, container outfit, evaporator fan and defrosterheater. The mathematical models, with concentrated parameters, are based on mass and energybalances. They describe the links related to causes and consequences between input, output andinternal variables of the processes, which take place in the subject subsystems, as well as the timeflow of those variables.Simulation models of the individual subsystems were based on the set of mathematical modelsand constructional characteristics of the tested container and its refrigeration plant. By integrating allsimulation models, a continuous simulation model was obtained for the complete ship’s refrigeratedcontainer system. The simulation model and computer simulation were provided by Powersimsimulation program. By use of computer simulation, results from developed mathematical model wereobtained, which enable practical insight into the dynamic behaviour of the observed system, i.e. theanalysis of the state of the air in the container, changes in temperature of refrigerated goods andobservation of mutual interaction between individual parameters. The results of the simulation arepresented in a graphic form. Individually developed dynamic models of respective subsystems areconfirmed by comparing simulation results with either the results obtained by analytic calculation orwith intuitively expected results. The dynamic model of the whole system is verified and conformed bycomparison of simulation results with existing experimental results obtained on the tested containersystem.The thesis also gives an extensive overview of the research made, so far, in the field ofdynamic modelling of refrigeration systems, heat pumps and their components. The container conceptis defined, with specific description of refrigerated containers, and a detailed description of the testedrefrigerated container. Standard tests to which containers are subjected are also given. Basic ideas ofSystem Dynamics – the method for modelling and simulation of dynamic systems, through which thedynamic model of the ship refrigerated container system is developed in this paper, are described.Attached is the simulation model in the form of a text record, as well as the results of existingexperimental thermal tests.
