Abstract (Croatian)

Iako su u prošlosti kameni artefakti korišteni kao osnovni nosivi elementi u građevinarstvu današnja vremena podrazumijevaju upotrebu kamenih elemenata koji imaju prvenstveno ukrasno - zaštitnu ulogu. Pritom sve češće izrada kamenih dijelova podrazumijeva implementaciju nekog od postupaka obrade odvajanjem čestica kako s ciljem olakšavanja izrade novih proizvoda tako i u svrhu izvođenja restauracijskih radova na već postojećim, primarno umjetničkim djelima. Poznato je da adekvatno izvođenje obradnog procesa uvjetuje poznavanje značajki obrađivanog materijala i razumijevanje zbivanja koja nastaju kao posljedica kontakta alata i obratka. Stoga se u ovom radu pristupilo detaljnoj analizi kamena kao obrađivanog materijala. \Napravila se njegova sistematizacija na osnovu više kriterija, opisala mu se struktura i tekstura te se razmatrao utjecaj mehaničkih svojstava kamena na njegovu obradivost. Eksperimentalni je dio rada proveden u svrhu analiziranja utjecaja parametara bušenja kamena i stanja alata na iznos sila rezanja, vibracija i akustične emisije, a prethodilo mu je kratko teoretsko razmatranje.

Abstract

Although in the past stone artifacts were used as the main load – bearing elements in the construction industry the present time includes the use of stone elements that have primarily decorative – protective role. Therby, in order to facilitate the production of new products and in order to perform restoration work, manufacturing of stone elements increasingly implies implementation of some machining processes. It′s known that appropriate execution of machining process requires knowledge of characterictics of workpiece material and understanding of events that occur as a result of contact between tool and workipece. Hence, in this paper, detailed analysis of rock material is conducted. Multiple criteria systematization of stone is made, structure and texture of rock material is described and the effect of mechanical properties of rock at its machinability is discussed. The experimental part of work is carried out with the aim of analyzing the impact of drilling parameters and cutting tool condition on cutting forces, vibrations and acoustic emission. The experiment was preceded by a brief theoretical discussion
