Abstract (Croatian)

U radu je obrađena tematika uloge premaza u zaštiti od buke. Kako je buka subjektivizirani oblik zvuka, obrađeni su fizikalni i akustički aspekti zvučnoga vala. Tada je buka diferencirana kao specifičan zvučni oblik (koji na čovjeka, uslijed dužeg izlaganja, može ostaviti fizičke i mentalne posljedice), te se prišlo opisivanju buke u industriji- kako ona utječe na rad zaposlenika, koje zakonske regulative štite radnika od posljedica dugotrajne izloženosti buci, koji se mehanizmi zaštite od buke primjenjuju u industrijskom okruženju te kako se buka uopće i mjeri. Premazi su opisani svojim sastavom, te su detaljno opisane metode nanošenja premaza i mjerenja njegove debljine (u suhom i mokrom stanju). Detaljno je razrađena uloga premaza u službi zaštite od industrijske buke te su pobrojani mehanizmi koji im to omogućuju. Prepoznata je i uloga nanočestica, kao sve popularnijeg materijala, koje dodatno naglašavaju karakteristike zvukovno prigušujućih premaza. U eksperimentalnome je dijelu obavljeno preliminarno ispitivanje komercijalnog Fonochrom premaza za zaštitu od buke.

Abstract

This paper deals with the role of coatings in noise protection. Since noise is a subjectivized form of sound, physical and acoustical aspects of the acoustic wave have been tackled. Noise has been differentiated as a specific sound form (that can, in the conditions of prolonged exposure, bring harm to both physical and mental well- being of a man), after which the spotlight has been brought to the industrial noisehow it affects the work of an employee, what are the law regulations that ensure protection against it, which mechanisms of noise protection are enforced in industry and how can one measure noise in the first place. The composition of coatings, the means of coating deposition and the coating thickness measurement techniques (both wet and dry) have been described. The role and basic principles of coatings in industrial noise protection have been elaborated in detail. Also, the usage of nanoparticles, the ever growing material field that enhances the coatings sound- damping aspects, has been recognised. In the experimental part of the paper, the preliminary examination of commercial Fonochrom noise protection coating has been carried out.
