Abstract (Croatian)

Ovaj rad sastoji se od dva dijela: teorijskog i eksperimentalnog. U teorijskom dijelu dan je pregled postupaka lijevanja, opisana je podjela i primjena aluminijevih legura, posebno legure AlSi12 kojom su lijevani odljevci, te su objašnjene metode kontrole poroznosti odljevaka te metode otplinjavanja aluminijevih legura, gdje je posebno obrađena metoda otplinjavanja tabletom Nitral C-19. Objašnjen je postupak lijevanja u kokile te važnost kontrole kvalitete odljevaka. U eksperimentalnom dijelu ispitivan je utjecaj skrućivanja taljevine pri atmosferskom tlaku, skrućivanja u vakuumu, promjene temperature lijevanja, te utjecaj otplinjavanja i skladištenja tableta za otplinjavanje taljevine na samu poroznost odljevaka. Zatim su provedena radiografska ispitivanja, test pri sniženom tlaku, vizualna kontrola, te mjerenje gustoće odljevaka. \Na temelju dobivenih rezultata potvrđeno je da odljevci skrućivani u vakuumu imaju znatno manju gustoću zbog povećane poroznosti te da otplinjavanje taljevine tabletom može utjecati na smanjenje poroznosti odljevaka i povećanje gustoće, ali samo ako je ista propisno skladištena.

Abstract

This graduate work consists of two parts: theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part gives an overview of the methods of casting and classification and application of aluminum alloys, special alloy AlSi12 which are made castings, and explains methods of controlling the porosity of castings and methods degassing aluminum alloys, where specially processed method by degassing tablet Nitral C-19. This graduate work explains the gravity casting process and the importance of quality control of castings. In the experimental part the influence of solidification melts at atmospheric pressure, the influence of solidification in a vacuum, and the effect of degassing tablet on castings were analysed. X-ray test, test at a reduced pressure, visual inspection, and measuring the density of castings were carried out. Based on the obtained results, it was confirmed that the castings harden in vacuum have a much lower density due to increased porosity and degassing melt tablet can impact on reducing casting porosity and density increase, but only if it is properly stored.
