Projektni prostor za optimiranje konture rotora plinske turbine vrlo je sužen brojnim projektnim zahtjevima pa za optimiranje konture s motrišta zadovoljenja vibracijskih kriterija, praktički, nema dovoljno projektnog prostora. U drugu ruku, vibracijska svojstva oslonaca imaju veliki utjecaj na cjelokupno vibracijsko ponašanje plinske turbine. Uz to, elastično ovješenje čini plinsku turbinu vrlo osjetljivom na vlastite frekvencije statorske konstrukcije koje mogu uzrokovati rad u rezonanciji i vibracijsku nestabilnost. U radu je pokazano da se vibracijska svojstva plinske turbine mogu značajno poboljšati pravilnim odabirom parametera oslonaca rotora i kućišta turbine. Dva pristupa optimiranja primjenjena su u ovom radu: inženjerski pristup (temeljen na inženjerskom iskustvu i intuiciji) i postupak metodom planiranja pokusa (primjenom statističkih metoda u planiranju, vođenju, razmatranju i tumačenju rezultata). Na kraju je napravljena usporedba oba pristupa s motrišta kakvoće pronađenih optimalnih rješenja i uloženog truda potrebnog za provedbu optimiranja.

Abstract

The design space for the optimisation of gas turbine rotor contour is very narrow due to many limitations and constrains. On the other hand, the support dynamic characteristics could have a large impact on the vibration characteristic of the whole engine. Moreover, flexible supports make the gas turbine very sensitive to the support structure eigenfrequencies that could cause resonant operation and dynamic instability. In this research it is shown that it is possible to find optimum values of the bearing and gas turbine casing support modal parameters in order to improve engine dynamic characteristics. Two optimisation approaches are presented in this research: first the common engineer's approach (based on engineering experience and intuition) and secondly design of experiments approach (using statistical methods in conducting, analysing and interpreting the results). The approaches to optimise dynamic characteristics are compared from the quality of the optimum found and the effort required to perform the analyses.
