Abstract (Croatian)

U radu je izvršena analiza opterećenja i proračun leptirastog ventila DN1200 PN16 kao zapornog i regulacijskog organa u svrhu konstrukcijske razrade i odabira upravljačkog mehanizma. U prvom dijelu rada je opisana povijest, prednosti i nedostaci te su objašnjeni osnovni pojmovi vezani uz tlak i temperaturu, dimenzije, konstrukcijsku izvedbu, karakteristiku protoka, upravljanje i testiranje industrijskih ventila. Drugi dio započinje opisom karakteristika i dijelova leptirastog ventila te mogućih konstrukcijskih izvedbi i njihovom međusobnom usporedbom. Posebna pozornost posvećena je analizi opterećenja i proračunu svih komponenata ventila DN1200 PN16. U nastavku slijedi objašnjenje nastanka pojave kavitacije u ventilu i njezine posljedice te su dane metode smanjenja iste. Na temelju proračuna izvršen je odabir ručnog, elektromotornog i hidrauličkog upravljačkog mehanizma i izrađena je dokumentacija danog leptirastog ventila.

Abstract

In this thesis an analysis of the load and calculation of butterfly valve DN1200 PN16 as a shutoff and throttling element in water system was carried out. Analysis is performed as a basis for further design development, selection and sizing of an actuator. In the first part of the thesis the history, advantages and disadvantages as well as basic terms relating to pressure and temperature, dimensions, design, flow characteristics, operation and test of industrial valves are explained. The second part begins with a description of characteristics and parts of butterfly valve. Furthermore possible butterfly valve designs are mentioned and their comparison is made. Special attention was paid to analysis of the load, especially valve torque, and calculation of valve components. Afterwards an explanation of the cavitation occurrence phenomena in the valve and its consequences are studied and methods for reduction are given. Based on calculation of a butterfly valve DN1200 PN16, procedure of selecting and sizing of manual, cylinder and electric actuator is explained and technical documentation is made.
