Abstract (Croatian)

Ovaj završni rad opisuje Kaizen (filozofija, princip, metodologija, metoda, pristup i postupci koji se bave stalnim poboljšanjem proizvodnje, usluge ili organizacije), njegovu primjenu u poslovanju te primjer kako se pomoću sukladnih alata mogu unaprijediti organizacija i procesi tvrtke. Teoretski su opisane vrste organizacija, procesa te alati koji se koriste za poboljšanje procesa u tvrtki. Teoretski je opisan Kaizen metoda, njegove karakteristike i općenito o Kaizen radionicama. Primjer primjene Kaizen radionice opisan je u drugom dijelu rada. Detaljnije je opisana i analizirana struktura organizacije tvrtke Centar za vozila Hrvatske. \Napravljena je usporedba organizacijske strukture odabrane tvrke te samog procesa prije i poslije primjene Kaizen radionice te su prikazana poboljšanja u procesu, njegovoj učinkovitosti i brzini rješavanja. Upotrebljavani alati za optimiranje organizacijske strukture su bili alati Kaizena: analiza otpada (muda) te SWAT analiza. Optimiranjem je došlo do značajnih financijskih ušteda. Primjena Kaizen alata za unaprjeđenje procesa proveden je na procesu tehničkog pregleda vozila. Rezultati Kaizen radionice su donijeli uštedu od 40% u vremenu rada, tj. za toliko se može skratiti procedura tehničkog pregleda, što povećava protok vozila kroz stanicu za tehnički pregled i stvara potencijal za povećanje profitabilnosti. Zaključak rada je da se uz reorganizaciju postojećih struktura, primjenom poznatih Kazien alata i načina poslovanja te brzim Kaizen radionicama, može postići učinkovitije funkcioniranje tvrtke i učinkovitija upotreba postojećih resursa, uz minimalna ulaganja. Sve to otvara put za ulaganja u povećanje kvalitete usluge ili nova područja poslovanja u svrhu rasta tvrtke i kvalitete njezinih usluga i proizvoda.

Abstract

This final paper describes Kaizen (philosophy and continuous improvement of manufacturing, services or organisation), it's application in daily business and how-to on Kaizen tools on improvement of an exemplary organisation and one of its processes. In the first part of this final paper, types of organisations, processes and tools which are used to enhance processes in companies are described theoretically. Kaizen principle, it's characteristics and general information about Kaizen events are also described theoretically. Structure and analysis of organisational structure of the company Centre for vehicles of Croatia is described in more details. Comparison of the organisational structure and one selected process of selected company was made, before and after applying Kaizen event. In the comparison are shown the improvements in the process, it's effectivenes and shorter time. Tools used in optimizing organizational structure are Kaizen tools: waste management (muda) and SWAT analysis. By optimising the organizational structure, significant financial savings are made, which are shown in the appropriate table. Procedure of tehnical inspection is also described, because it was selected for improvement with Kaizen event in order to optimize it. Results of the Kaizen event have brought savings in time of 40%, which is time for which said procedure could be shortened. The shortened time increases vehicle flow in the technical inspection station and thus creating opportunity for profit increase. Conclusion of the final paper is that with reorganising existing structures, using known Kaizen tools and way of doing business and using quick Kaizen events, more effective function and use of existing resources could be made, with minimal financial investment. All that opens up a path for investments to increase service quality or exploring new markets, in which a company can grow, thrive and increase the quality of it's services and products.
