Abstract (Croatian)

Biorazgradivi polimerni materijali imaju sve veću primjenu u medicini. Dodatna prednost tih materijala je mogućnost njihove primjene u uređajima za brzu izradu prototipova. U radu su opisani biorazgradivi polimerni materijali te sam proces biorazgradnje u modelu ljudskog tijela. Također je opisana tehnologija brze izrade prototipova te najčešći postupci kojima se ona izvodi. U eksperimentalnom dijelu tehnologijom brze izrade prototipova izrađeni su testni uzorci od PLA polimernog materijala na kojima se kontinuiranim praćenjem istraživao utjecaj dinamike razgradnje na osnovna mehanička svojstva.

Abstract

Biodegradable polymer materials have been increasingly used in medicine. An additional advantage of these materials is the possibility of their application in devices for rapid prototyping. This paper describes a biodegradable polymer materials and the process of biodegradation in the model of human body. The technology of rapid prototyping is also described as well as the most common methods by which it is performed. In the research, test samples of PLA polymer material have been made using the technology of rapid prototyping. These samples were investigated by continuously monitoring the impact of the dynamics of degradation on the basic mechanical properties.
