Abstract (Croatian)

Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se biorazgradnjom uzoraka TiMg materijala s 10 %, 20 % i 30 % masenim udjelima. Objašnjene su bitne tehnologije vezane uz proizvodnju titana i magnezija, svojstva titana i magnezija te postupak pripreme uzoraka za ispitivanja. Kontinuirano je mjerena elucija iona magnezija kroz razdoblje od sedam tjedana, mjerena je masa uzoraka prije i nakon podvrgavanja biorazgradnji te je proučavana mikrostruktura uzoraka.

Abstract

This master's thesis deals with biodegradation of samples made of TiMg materials with: 10 %, 20 %, and 30 % mass percentage of magnesium. Essential technologies related to the production of titanium and magnesium, titanium and magnesium properties and a process of preparing samples for testing are explained. Elution of magnesium ions was constantly measured throughout seven weeks, measured was also mass of the samples before and after being subjected to biodegradation and the microstructure of the samples was studied.
