Abstract (Croatian)

Obnovljivi izvori energije igraju sve značajniju ulogu u proizvodnji energije, kako u svijetu tako i u Republici Hrvatskoj. Europski cilj 20 - 20 -20 kojeg je RH preuzela na sebe, obvezuje Hrvatsku da do 2020. godine poveća udio potrošnje energije iz obnovljivih izvora energije na 20%, da za 20% smanji emisije CO2 u atmosferu, te da ostvari uštede, odnosno smanji potrošnju energije za 20%. Zbog tog cilja, od interesa su male hidroelektrane i njihov neiskorišteni potencijal. U okviru diplomskog rada urađeno je nekoliko zadataka vezanih uz malu hidroelektranu i pripadajuću odabranu turbinu. Opisane su moguće sheme malih hidroelektrana kao i njihove osnovne komponente. Za odabranu lokaciju je određena krivulja trajanja protoka te je provedena tehno-ekonomska analiza male hidrolektrane pomoću odabranog računalnog programa. Za malu hidrolektranu na odabranoj lokaciji izrađen je hidraulički proračun predloženog tipa vodne turbine te je izrađen crtež uzdužnog presjeka vodne turbine. Na kraju je izvršena provjera strujnih karakteristika konstruirane turbine numeričkim modeliranjem.

Abstract

Renewable energy sources play an increasingly important role in energy production, both worldwide and in Republic of Croatia. European objective 20 - 20 -20 that Croatia took upon itself, obliges Croatia to a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, raising the share of energy consumption produced from renewable resources to 20% and a 20% improvement in the energy efficiency. Because of this goal, small hydro power plants and their untapped potential are of interest to energy production in Croatia. Several tasks related to small hydroelectric power plant and selected turbine have been done within the scope of the graduate work. It describes possible schemes of small hydropower plants as well as their basic components. Flow duration curve has been determined, and a techno-economic analysis has been conducted for chosen location of the small hydroelectric power plant. Hydraulic calculation of the present type of water turbine has been conducted, and drawing of the longitudinal section of a water turbine has been drawn. Computational Fluid Dynamics methods have been employed to simulate the flow characteristics through the designed turbine.
