Abstract (Croatian)

Vitki menadžment poslovna je filozofija organizacije usmjerena na smanjenje operativnih troškova, odnosno svih oblika gubitaka i rasipanja, kako bi se na taj način povećao uspjeh organizacije. Pretpostavlja kontinuiranu, detaljnu i integrativnu primjenu skupa načela, metoda i djelovanja za efikasno i efektivno planiranje, izvršavanje i kontrolu ukupnog lanca stvaranja vrijednosti proizvoda i usluga. Kako bi se eliminirali gubici, vitki menadžment koristi brojne alate kao što su: Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Just in time, Mapiranje toka vrijednosti, Poka Yoke, SMED, itd. U diplomskom radu naglašen je alat Single - Minute Exchange of Die (SMED). SMED je sustav za značajno smanjenje vremena koje je potrebno za potpunu promjenu opreme. Cilj SMED sustava je pretvoriti što više koraka promjene opreme u eksterne aktivnosti, odnosno u one aktivnosti koje se mogu odvijati tijekom rada opreme. SMED alat i tehnologija razvijeni su u Japanu od strane Shingeo Shinga i od tada su svoju učinkovitost pokazali na velikom broju primjera. Praktični dio diplomskog rada sadrži implementiranje SMED-a na proces montaže i lakiranja prednjeg branika osobnog automobila marke Peugeout u poduzeću Viadukt d.d.

Abstract

Lean management is a business philosophy of company organization focused on reducing operating costs and all forms of losses and wast in order to increase the success of the organization. It represents a continuous, thorough and integrative application of a set of principles, methods and activities for efficient and effective planning, execution and control of the overall chain of creating the value of products and services. In order to eliminate losses, lean management uses a number of tools such as: Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Just in Time, Value Stream Mapping, Poka Yoke, SMED, etc. This thesis focuses on the tool Single – Minute Exchange of Die (SMED). SMED is a system which is used to significantly reduce the time needed for a complete change of the equipment. The goal of the SMED system is to convert as many multistep changes as possible into external activities or the activities that can take place during the operation of the equipment. SMED tools and technologies have been developed in Japan by Shingeo Shing and since then have demonstrated its effectiveness on a large number of examples. The practical part of the thesis contains the implementation of SMED in the process of assembling and painting the front bumper of a car of the Peugeot brand produced by the company Viadukt d.d. (Inc.)
