Abstract (Croatian)
U ovome radu biti će dan pregled tehnologija kinetičkih vodnih turbina. Kinetičke turbine se koriste za proizvodnju električne energije direktno iz toka vode u rijekama, potocima, kanalima. Kod kinetičkih hidroelektrana nije potrebna izgradnja brana. Ista tehnologija kao i kod kinetičkih elektrana koje pogoni tok vode u rijekama se koristi i za proizvodnju električne energije iz snage morskih struja. Proizvodnja električne energije iz malih kinetičkih hidroelektrana smatra se pouzdanom i ekološki prihvatljivom. Navedena obilježja su u današnje vrijeme izuzetno važna pri proizvodnji električne energije. Zbog niske cijene proizvodnje i relativno jednostavne konstrukcije malih kinetičkih turbina koje koriste tokove rijeka za proizvodnju električne energije, i manje razvijene zemlje se mogu uključiti u njihovu proizvodnju. To bi dalo mogućnost opskrbljivanja električnom energijom i manjih izoliranih zajednica.
Abstract
In this paper a technology overview of kinetic waterturbines will be given. Kinetic waterturbines are being used to produce electricity directly from water flow in rivers, streams, channels. Kinetic hydropower plants do not require the construction of dams. The same technology as in the kinetic hydropower plants that are driven by the flow of water in rivers is also used to produce electricity from the power of sea currents. Electricity production from small kinetic hydropower plants is considered reliable and environmentally friendly. Those characteristics are nowadays extremely important in the production of electricity. Due to the low cost of production and relatively simple construction of small kinetic turbines that use the river flows to produce electricity, less developed countries may be included in their production as well. It would give the possibility of supplying electricity even to small isolated communities.
