Abstract (Croatian)

Tema diplomskog rada je emisija štetnih onečišćujućih tvari iz ispušnog sustava cestovnih vozila. U radu je prikazana potrošnja energije u Europi te utjecaj transporta na kvalitetu zraka, naveden je povijesni pregled pravilnika za smanjenje emisija ispušnih plinova, te načini mjerenja emisija CO2 iz cestovnih vozila. Također, u radu su opisani ispitni ciklusi (NEDC, Artemis, WLTP) kojima je cilj što vjernije opisati/simulirati stvarne uvjete eksploatacije vozila. U drugom dijelu rada analizirana je ukupna potrošnja energije u Republici Hrvatskoj između 1990. i 2012. godine, te koliko od te ukupne potrošnje čini cestovni promet. Prikazane su i glavne emisije štetnih tvari u RH s naglaskom na emisije iz cestovnog prometa. Također, analiziran je i vozni park RH između 2009. i 2012. godine i to u nekoliko kategorija: prema emisijskim razinama (Pred-Euro 1, … , 6), prema starosti vozila, tipu motora, pogonskom gorivu, godišnje prijeđenom putu, itd. Na kraju rada matematički je razrađen novi prijedlog metode za računanja emisija, te su definirani potrebni ulazni podatci, ograničenja i mogućnosti programa. Uz to, opisan je i program koji je izrađen u programskom paketu „Microsoft Office Excel 2007“ te su prikazani dobiveni rezultati i napravljena analiza osjetljivosti izlaznih podataka.

Abstract

This thesis deals with the emission of harmful pollutants from the exhaust system of motor vehicles. The work begins with the overview of consumption of energy in Europe and impact of vehicle on air quality. Historical overview of standards and regulations for reducing emissions, and ways of measuring CO2 emissions from road vehicles have been listed. Furthermore, test cycles (NEDC, Artemis, WLTP) which should faithfully depict actual vehicle operating conditions have been described. In the second part of the thesis total energy consumption in Croatia between 1990 and 2012, and the part that road transport makes in total consumption has been analyzed. Main emissions in the Republic of Croatia, with a focus on emissions from road transport have been displayed. Also, the fleet of Croatia between 2009 and 2012. is analyzed, divided into several categories according to: emission levels (Pre-Euro 1, ..., 6), age of vehicle, type of engine, motor fuel, annual mileage etc. At the end of the thesis, the new method for calculating emissions has been developed mathematically, and the required input data, constraints and opportunities of the program have been defined. Additionally, the program which was created in the software package "Microsoft Office Excel 2007" has been described, obtained results and an analysis of the sensitivity of the output data have been presented.
