Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom radu proveden je hidraulicki proracun vaznijih dijelova pumpe namijenjene za dobavu vode u vodovodnom sustavu. Ukratko su prezentirana osnovna teorijska i eksperimentalna znanja iz podrucja turbopumpi. Postupak hidraulickog proracuna detaljno je objasnjen rijecima, formulama i dijagramima toka u drugom poglavlju ovog rada. Zbog iterativne prirode proracuna za njegovu provedbu koristio se programski jezik "Python". Jedan dio koda proracuna, prikazan je u prilogu ovog rada. Dimenzije dobivene hidraulickim proracunom iskoristene su za izradu tehnickih crteza samih dijelova te su isti prilozeni u radu. Hidraulicke karakteristike radnog kola i difuzora pumpe provjerene su numerickom simulacijom u programskom paketu "Fluent". Za simulaciju radnog kola i difuzora koristena je metoda diskretizacije drugog reda tocnosti. Kako bi simulacija bila cim vjernija stvarnosti koristena je pomicna mreza u predjelu radnog kola (takozvana "sliding mesh" mreza). Rezultati numeričke simulacije prikazani su te analizirani u posljednjem poglavlju diplomskog rada. Rezultati numericke simulacije pokazuju da dijelovi pumpe dobiveni provedenim hidraulickim proracunom zadovoljavaju trazene parametre.

Abstract

This thesis deals with hydraulic calculation of important parts of the water supply pumps. In the first part basic theoretical and experimental knowledge in the field of turbopumps is presented. The hydraulic calculation procedure is explained in detail in the second chapter. The "Python" programming language was used for the calculation due to calculation's iterative nature. One part of the calculating code is presented in the appendix of this thesis. Dimensions obtained by hydraulic calculation were used in engineering (technical) drawings of the parts which are included in the thesis. Hydraulic characteristics of pump impeller and diffuser were investigated by using numerical simulation software "Fluent". Second order accurate discretization method was used for simulation of pump impeller and diffuser. In order to get a more realistic simulation the "sliding mesh" technique has been applied. Results of numerical simulation are presented and analysed in the last chapter. Results of the numerical simulation show that parts of the pump obtained by hydraulic calculation satisfy all required parameters.
