Abstract (Croatian)

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je primjena Lean (vitke) metologije i jednog o njegovih alata, a to je Kanban. U prvom dijelu rada opisana su osnovna načela, prednosti i nedostaci Lean metodologije. U nastavku teksta, kroz primjer velikih svjetskih kompanija, prikazani su rezultati i način primjene. Lean ulazi u sve dijelove poduzeća u kojemu se primjenjuje, te osim Lean menadžmenta postoji i Lean razmišljanje, administracija, proizvodnja te mnoga druga područja primjene. Pristup inženjerskim i proizvodnim funkcijama poduzeća koji je opisan u radu, može jednostavno prikazati rješenja koja se nude i pozitivne rezultate koje stvara proizvodnja radi korištenja Leana. Za vrijeme procesa razvijanja Lean proizvodnje, osmišljeni su mnogi alati koji su obrađeni u tekstu, dok je Kanban alat koji je detaljno opisan u drugom dijelu rada. Osim njegovih temeljnih osobina, prikazan je i način implementacije. Kroz primjenu Kanban sustava u proizvodnji stolarije i namještaja u poduzeću Artum3 d.o.o., najbolje su prikazani rezultati, utjecaji i ciljevi koje ostvaruje ovaj Lean alat. U tablici Lean metrike najbolje se vidi uspješnost primjene Kanbana. Na kraju rada prikazana je nekolicina softverskih alata, koji se mogu koristiti kada je u pitanju primjena Leana odnosno Kanbana.

Abstract

The topic of this paper is the application of Lean methodology and Kanban as on if it’s tools. In the first part, this paper describes the basic principles, advantages and disadvantages of Lean methodology. In the following, method of application and the results are shown through the example of the world's great companies. Lean enters all parts of the company in which it applies, and in addition to Lean Management and Lean thinking we know, administration, manufacturing and many other areas of application. As described, access to the engineering and manufacturing functions of the company can easily show solutions and positive results in the production because of Lean. During Lean production process development many tools were created and are described in text below. Kanban is one of the Lean tools described in details in the second part of this paper. Besides it's basic characteristics, implementation principles are explained. Results impacts and goals achieved through this Lean tool are best explained by using Kanban system in manufacturing furniture and joinery in company Artum3 ltd. Successful application of Kanban is best seen in the Lean metrics table. Finally, the paper presents a number of software tools that can be used when it comes to the application of Lean and Kanban.
