Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom se radu razmatra utjecaj hlađenja stijenke linera ispušnog kućišta plinske turbine na temperaturna naprezanja. Na početku rada se daje matematički model, a zatim metodom kontrolnih volumena diskretizirane jednadžbe svedene na sustav algebarskih jednadžbi. Drugi dio opisuje izradu mreže, postavljanje numeričkog modela koji će se rješavati, daju se svojstva materijala te početni i rubni uvjeti potrebni za rješavanje diskretiziranog matematičkog modela. Nakon numeričke simulacije za koju je korišten programski paket OpenFOAM, daje se analiza rezultata i zaključci te lista potencijalnih rješenja problema temperaturnog naprezanja.

Abstract

This thesis deals with gas turbine exhaust housing liner and liner cooling induced thermal stresses. In the first parts of this thesis, mathematical model and its corresponding finite volume discretization are given in the form of system of algebraic equations. Second part is all about the process of setting the case up, including mesh generation, material properties and initial and boundry conditions. OpenFOAM is used for numerical simulation, after which results and their analysis are given. Based on conclusions coming from results, some potential solutions are provided with their possible pros and cons.
