Abstract (Croatian)

Mobilni roboti imaju potrebu za kontinuiranom opskrbom električnom energijom bez čestih prekidanja zadataka. Problem je nešto što sva živa bića uzimaju zdravo za gotovo: navigacija. Robot nema oči, uši, osjet, nego to simulira pomoću raznoraznih senzora i električnih spojeva. Robotu je teško razaznati metu od prepreke i zbog toga se oslanja na podatke iz svojih senzora. Na tržištu postoji ne mali broj rješenja koja se bave tom problematikom. U ovom radu smo se osvrnuli na neka od njih i odabrali optimalni sustav za eMIR mobilnog robota. Pokazalo se da u inovaciji, cijena ima relativno malen značaj i je najpoželjnija karakteristika mogućnost kompenzacije za veća odstupanja.

Abstract

Mobile robots have a need for continuous power supply without frequent task interruptions. The problem is something that all living beings take for granted: navigation. The robot does not have eyes, ears or touch, but it simulates them using various sensors and electrical connections. Robot has difficulties discerning the target from obstacles and therefore relies on data from its sensors. On the market there are quite a few solutions that deal with these issues. In this article we look at some of them and select the optimum system for the eMIR mobile robot. It turned out that, in innovation, price has little or no significance and the most desirable characteristic is good error tolernace.
