Abstract (Croatian)

U radu su analizirane metode smanjenja toplinskih gubitaka u razvodu procesne pare. Kako bi mogli odrediti učinkovitost primijenjene metode izveden je matematički model strujanja pare u cijevi, pomoću kojega se može izračunati toplinski tok koji od pare odlazi prema okolini. Izvedeni matematički model primijenjen je za ocjenu učinkovitosti smanjenja toplinskih gubitaka na dvije različite metode. Prva je smanjenje ulaznih parametara pare dok je druga instalacija izolacije. Za izolaciju je također provedena tehno-ekonomska analiza za različite debljine.

Abstract

This work analyses methods of reducing heat loss during the transport of process steam. To determine the efficiency of an applied method, a mathematical model of steam flow in a horizontal pipe was developed to help determine the heat flow from the steam to the environment. The developed mathematical model is applied to evaluate the efficiency of heat loss reduction of two different methods. The first is a reduction of inlet steam parameters and the second is the application of thermal insulation. Also, a financial analysis is performed for different insulation thicknesses to see which thickness is most financially viable.
