Abstract (Croatian)

U teorijskom dijelu diplomskog rada opisano je značenje udarnog rada loma te su dane metode ispitivanja udarnog rada loma. Detaljno su opisana ispitivanja udarnog rada loma po Charpy-u te nova instrumentirana metoda ispitivanja po Charpy-u. Ispitivanje Charpy-evim batom je standardizirana metoda kojom se određuje količina apsorbirane energije u materijalu prilikom loma. Ta apsorbirana energija je mjera žilavosti materijala te služi kao alat za praćenje temperature prijelaza između krhkog i žilavog loma. U ovom dijelu rada dan je opis postupka ispitivanja udarnog rada loma instrumentirane i klasične metode Charpy-evim batom. Posebno su naglašene još neke mogućnosti ovih metoda. U eksperimentalnom dijelu opisan je plan ispitivanja koji se sastoji od tri skupine ispitivanja. Provedba ispitivanja udarnog rada loma je bila predviđena na Charpy-evom batu proizvođača ZWICK. Stoga je provedena indirektna i direktna provjera ovog Charpy-evog bata. Indirektna provjera bata je provedena s certificiranim referentnim epruvetama nazivne vrijednosti 70 J i 120 J. U drugom dijelu eksperimentalnih istraživanja provedena su ispitivanja udarnog rada loma na ispitnim uzorcima izrađenih od čelika S275J0G3. U zadnjem dijelu su provedena ispitivanja mehaničkih svojstava istog čelika statičkim vlačnim ispitivanjem. Na temelju provedenih eksperimentalnih ispitivanja provedena je analiza te doneseni zaključci.

Abstract

Theoretical part of this thesis describes the meaning of impact testing and methods for impact testing are given. Charpy pendulum test and new instrumented Charpy pendulum test are described in detail. Charpy pendulum test is a standardized method that determines the amount of energy absorbed in the material during fracture. This absorbed energy is the measure for toughness of a given material and acts as a tool to monitor ductile-brittle transition temperature. In this part of the paper, fracture toughness testing methods for Charpy pendulum test and instrumented Charpy pendulum test are given. Special emphasis is placed on some other possibilities of these methods. In the experimental part of this thesis a testing plan for three groups of various experiments is described. Fracture toughness experiments were conducted on Charpy pendulum manufacturer ZWICK. Indirect and direct verification of the Charpy pendulum was preformed. Indirect verification was carried out with reference specimens that have the nominal value of 70 J and 120 J. The second part of experimental research was carried out on specimens made of steel S275J0G3. In the last part, testing of mechanical properties for S275J0G3 steel with static tensile testing was performed. Based on the results of the tests analysis was conducted and the conclusions are given.
