Abstract (Croatian)

Cilj rada je prikazati glavne specifičnosti konstrukcije putničkog katamarana projektiranog za riječnu plovidbu. Proračun čvrstoće proveden je prema Pravilima Bureau Veritas-Inland Navigation Vessels. Brod se sastoji od čelične konstrukcije trupa i aluminijske konstrukcije nadgraña. Zbog specifične konstrukcije boka nadgraña, većim dijelom izgrađene samo od vertikalnih okvira, posebna pažnja posvećena je projektiranju nadgrađa. Kako bi projektom osigurali da što manje opterećenja s gornje palube bude preneseno na vertikalne okvire boka, gornja paluba je na bokovima nadgrađa oslonjena na dvije uzdužne linice, projektirane da budu primarni nosači gornje palube. Analizirana su maksimalna naprezanja i maksimalni progibi pojedinih strukturnih elemenata, posebno gornje palube i bokova nadgrađa. U svrhu verifikacije predloženog koncepta izrađen je grubi MKE modela cijelog broda koji je korišten za kontrolu strukturnog integriteta katamarana prilikom porinuća.

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to present main aspects of structural design of passenger catamaran, designed to operate in inland waterways. The strength calculation has been carried out according Bureau Veritas Rules-Inland Navigation Vessels. Structure is consisted of steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Due to untypical design of superstructure sides, built mainly from vertical girders only, special care was taken in structural analysis of superstructure. To ensure that only minimum load from upper deck will be transferred to side girders, the upper deck is supported by two longitudinal bulwarks, which are designed to be the primary support members of this deck. Both maximum stresses and maximum deflections of structural elements have been checked, with special care on upper deck and side girders. Verification of suggested concept and evaluation of structural integrity during launching process has been checked using full ship FEM model.
