Abstract (Croatian)

U radu je razmotrena problematika primjene i prilagodbe metodologije 6σ u malim proizvodnim organizacijama. Cilj je bio pronaći optimalni model 6σ metodologije koji bi se mogao efikasno primijeniti u postupcima poboljšavanja prema poslovnoj izvrsnosti. Metodologija 6σ nastala je u najuspješnijim, najvećim i najboljim organizacijama SAD-a od kuda se i crpe sva iskustva o njenoj primjeni. Obzirom da primjena metodologije 6σ nezadrživo raste u Americi i Europi, a širi se zajedno s područjima velikih kompanija i na ostale kontinente, postavilo se pitanje da li se može primijeniti i u našem gospodarstvu. Konkretno, zanima nas koliko metodologija 6σ može pomoći u poboljšanju kvalitete proizvoda i sustava u malim proizvodnim organizacijama? Svi rezultati koji govore o uspješnoj primjeni navedene metodologije uglavnom se odnose na velike svjetske korporacije i tvrtke. Malo je znanstvenih ili stručnih radova koji bi ukazivali na primjenu 6σ u malim poslovnim sustavima. Upravo je ta činjenica bila pokretač ideje za ovo istraživanje i oblikovanje modela za primjenu u malim organizacijama na kojima se temelji gospodarstvo RH. Demistificiranjem 6σ i njenom prilagodbom, mnogi mali i srednji poslovni sustavi mogli bi otvoriti put prema poslovnoj izvrsnosti. U radu se nakon uvodnog dijela i opisa postupaka poboljšavanja detaljno opisuju temeljne karakteristike 6σ metodologije. Cilj je bio sagledati sve aspekte metodologije, njenu strukturu, počela i obilježja kao i statističko tumačenje, kako bi se kroz postupke istraživanja došlo do zaključaka ugrađenih u predloženi model. Rad je istražio i potvrdio mogućnosti prilagodbe metodologije 6σ u malim proizvodnim organizacijama uz kriterije smanjenja troškova poslovanja i povećanja zadovoljstva kupaca. Prilagodba se temelji na ključnim faktorima, kao što su: potpuna opredijeljenost najviše uprave, pošteno nagrađivanje za uspješno realizirane projekte, zadovoljstvo kupaca i stalno smanjivanje troškova poslovanja. Pored ovih ključnih faktora uspjeha u modelu se razmatraju i druge specifičnosti vezane uz funkcioniranje malih proizvodnih organizacija. Predloženi model temelji se na osnovnoj metodologiji 6σ, karakteristikama „Lean“ proizvodnje i karakteristikama malih organizacija. Za razliku od klasičnog, predloženi model razmatra samoocjenu razine uspješnosti organizacije prije pokretanja projekta, definiranje strategije, specifične postupke izobrazbe, timove za realizaciju projekata, metode za rangiranje i izbor prioritetnih projekata, definiranje odgovornosti u procesima, uspostavu sustava nagrađivanja i uključivanja zaposlenika. Predloženi model 6σ treba promatrati kao specifični oblik „biznisa“ gdje se postupcima poboljšavanja kroz projekte ostvaruju određene dobiti, koje se raspoređuju definiranim ključem. Jedan dio ostvarene dobiti ulaže se u sljedeće projekte i na taj način se podupiru daljnje uštede. Vjeruje se u uspješnost primjene prilagođene 6σ metodologije u malim proizvodnim organizacijama, kao i njenu primjenu u organizacijama drugih djelatnosti uz nužne preinake i prilagodbe.

Abstract

This work analyses the issue of application and adjustment of the 6σ-Methodology in small production enterprises. The objective was to find an optimum 6σ-program model which could be efficiently applied in business excellence upgrading procedures. The 6σ-Methodology was created in the most successful, the biggest and the best USA organizations, which all experience on the methodology application have been taken from. Considering its unstoppable growth in Europe and America, and its expansion with other companies to other continents, the question arose on whether the methodology can be applied in our economy. We are particularly interested in how the Six Sigma can help to improve the quality of products and the system in small enterprises? All results showing successful application of the stated methodology mainly relate to large global corporations and firms. There are only a few scientific and professional papers focused on the application of Six Sigma in small business systems. This very fact was the initiator of the idea for this particular research and the model design, to be applied in small organizations which the Croatian economy is based on. Demystification and adjustment of the Six Sigma could result in many small and medium-sized business systems enabling business excellence. Following introduction and description of procedures, the work provides a detailed description of 6σ Program fundamental characteristics. The objective was to analyse all methodology aspects, its structure, fundamental principles, features, and statistic interpretation, to reach the conclusions integrated into the suggested model through research procedures. The work investigated and confirmed the Six Sigma Methodology adjustment possibilities to small organizations, together with criteria relating to decreasing business expenses and increasing the customer’s satisfaction. This adjustment is based on the following key factors: full devotion of the highest managerial level, fair remuneration for successfully completed projects, satisfaction of customers and continuous decrease of business costs. Apart from these key success factors other specific features have also been analyzed, related to operation of small organizations. The suggested model is based ion the basic 6σ-Methodology, the characteristics of lean production and small organizations. Contrary to the classical model, the one suggested analyzes self-assessment of the organization performance level prior to starting the project, defining the strategy, the specific education procedures, the project realization teams, the ranking methods and the selection of priority projects, setting up of the remuneration system and involvement of employees. The suggested 6σ model shall be considered a specific business model, where, through projects, the improvement procedures result in realization of profits deployed using a predefined key. One part of the profit is invested into the further projects which support additional savings. It is believed that efficient application of the adjusted 6σ Methodology in small production organizations and its application in organizations with other business activities, considering necessary changes and modifications, is well grounded.
