Lots of modern product materials are made as a mixture which consists of more significant components. The reason of mixing components is to achieve optimal properties of product. The result of product properties isn’t only because of main effects but the interactions between components. The crucial part of mixing components is a proportion of components. It can be assumed that by varying the composition through the changing of ingredient proportions, the properties of the product will vary or change also. The functional relation between observed properties of product and specific proportion in mixture can be obtained by conducting experiments with mixtures. Sometimes when the production is already started and there is a need for either control or adjusting the properties instead of using predefined experiment model we can use historical data. The paper will present the historical data analysis as a proper statistical analysis which can gives adequate results faster and cheaper than conducting predefined experiment model.
