Abstract (Croatian)

Diplomskim radom je obrađena tema industrijskih mrežnih sabirnica, te je napravljen eksperimentalni dio rada primjenom EtherCAT sabirnice. Unutar uvoda dan je osvrt na osnovne pojmove lokalne mreže i OSI modela. Prikazani pojmovi, protokoli i modeli komunikacije važni su za razumijevanje industrijskih mrežnih protokola. Objašnjeni su principi rada i osnovne značajke te je prikazana usporedba njihovih industrijski značajnih parametara. U nastavku rada je detaljno objašnjena EtherCAT sabirnica. Eksperimentalni dio rada sadrži opis i tehničke karakteristike eksperimentalnog postava te programsku podršku kojom je ostvarena komunikacija između mjerne stanice i servo regulatora uporabom EtherCAT sustava. Unutar programa su napravljeni blok dijagrami kojima se omogućuje neovisno upravljanje pozicijom i brzinom s tri servo motora.

Abstract

Thesis deals with industrial network bus. In experimental part of the work is used EtherCAT industrial bus. Within the introduction, a summary of the basic concepts of local area networks and the OSI model are shown. The present concepts, protocols and models of communication are essential for understanding the industrial network protocols, whose work is based on the basic network operation. To demonstrate the difference between the protocols, the comparisons of their industrially relevant parameters are shown. In continuation of the work, EtherCAT industrial network protocol is explained in detail. The experimental part of the work contains a description of the technical characteristics of the devices and a program which is used to establish communication between the master station and the servo controller using EtherCAT system. Block diagrams are made within the program which allows independent control of position and speed with three servo motors.
