Abstract (Croatian)

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je upravljački sustav bolida u natjecanju Formule Student. U radu su prikazani različiti upravljački sustavi (Ackerman, Pro-Ackerman, Anti-Ackerman, Davis). Za odabir najboljeg sustava bilo je potrebno istražiti prednosti i nedostatke svakog od sustava. Uz odabir potrebno je i pridržavati se određenih pravila i smjernica. Pravila su propisana pravilnikom FSAE 2015, a smjernice vezane za upravljački sustav nalaze se u literaturi te su one najbitnije prikazane u radu. Uspoređen je upravljački sustav koji se do sada koristio na bolidu (Pro-Ackerman) s Davisovim upravljačkim sustavom, čija se primjenjivost na bolid Formule Student analizira u ovom radu. Analizirano je kada koji sustav postiže Ackermanov uvjet, te je uspoređena njihova kompliciranost i primjenjivost na bolide Formule Student. Također, izrađena je konstrukcija Davisovog upravljačkog sustava koja bi se primijenila na trenutni bolid Strix. Iz konstrukcije su dobiveni potrebni podaci za simulaciju u programskom paketu CarSim. Pomoću programa uspoređivali su se međusobno sustavi kako bi se vidjelo koji je bolji.

Abstract

The theme of this master thesis is the steering system for Formula Student race car. In this thesis different steering systems (Ackerman, Ackerman-Pro, Anti-Ackerman, Davis) are presented. In order to choose the best system, it was necessary to research the advantages and disadvantages of each system. With the selection, it is necessary to abide to certain rules and guidelines. The rules are prescribed in the rulebook FSAE 2015, and guidelines related to the steering system can be found in the literature, and the most important are shown in the paper. The steering system which has been used on the car (Pro-Ackerman) is compared with the Davis steering system, whose applicability to the Formula Student car is analyzed in this paper. When each system achieves Ackermans condition is analyzed, and their complexity and applicability on the Formula Student cars is compared. Also, the design of the Davis steering system that could be applied to the current car Strix is constructed. From the design, data needed for the simulation in the software package CarSim is obtained. Using the program, the systems are compared with each other to determine which is better.
