Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom radu je ispitan utjecaj zaštitnog plina na zavarivanje austenitnih čelika. U teorijskom dijelu su dani osnovni podaci o nehrđajućim čelicima te o postupcima zavarivanja s naglaskom na MAG (Metal Active Gas) postupak zavarivanja. U eksperimentalnom dijelu provodi se zavarivanje uzoraka MAG postupkom s tri različita zaštitna plina i tri različita unosa topline. Osnovni materijal je austenitni nehrđajući čelik oznake 1.4301 (AISI 304), a dodatni materijal je žica oznake MIG 309-LSi promjera 1,2 mm. Nakon zavarivanja pripremljeni su makroizbrusci na kojima je provedeno ispitivanje na temelju kojeg su doneseni zaključci o utjecaju zaštitnog plina.

Abstract

This thesis describes the influence of shielding gases on geometry and appearance of austenitic stainless steel. The theoretical part gives some basic information about stainless steels and about welding processes with special emphasis on MAG welding process. The experimental part is carried out with MAG welding process with three different shielding gases (M12, M13, R1) and three different heat input levels. Base material is austenitic stainless steel grade 1.4301 (AISI 304), and filler material is a wire MIG 309-LSi with 1,2 mm diameter. After welding, macro specimens were investigated in order to determine influence of the shielding gases.
