Abstract (Croatian)

Zamjena zgloba kuka umjetnim danas je najčešći rutinski zahvat u ugrađivanju endoproteza. Razvoj endoproteza napredovao je od svojih početaka sve većim razvojem novih materijala i tehnologija proizvodnje. Životi vijek endoproteze procjenjuje se na 10 – 15 godina. Osnovni cilj ovog rada je objasniti od koji se elementa sastoji endoproteza kuka, od kojih je materijala izrađena te dati uvid u trošenje tribopara endoproteze. U teoretskom dijelu rada opisani su biomaterijali koji se koriste u medicini, elementi endoproteze zgloba kuka, način fiksacije implantata za kost pacijenta. Zatim su nabrojani i opisani materijali koji se primjenjuju u ortopediji. Za kraj spomenuta su bio mehanička obilježja zgloba kuka te uzroci dotrajalosti materijala. U eksperimentalnom dijelu provedena su različita ispitivanja te je napravljena detaljna analiza tribopara endoproteze zgloba kuka. Naglasak je stavljen na tribopar polimerni uložak/glava kuka. Proučavat će se uzroci i mehanizmi trošenja te će se na temelju dobivenih informacija donijeti određeni zaključci.

Abstract

Replacement of the hip joint with artificial is nowadays the most common routine procedure at incorporating endoprosthesis. Development of endoprosthesis has progressed from its beginnings by growing development of new materials and production technologies. Lifetime of endoprosthesis is estimated at 10 - 15 years. The main purpose of this thesis is to explain the elements of which consists endoprosthesis hip joint, of which materials is maid of and to provide insight into wear tribocouple endoprosthesis. In the theoretical part of this thesis are described biomaterials that are used in medicine, elements of hip prosthesis and fixation of the implant to the bone of the patient. There have also been listed and described materials that are applied in orthopedics. In the end are mentioned mechanical characteristics of the hip joint and causes frazzle of materials. In the experimental part were conducted various tests and are made a detailed analysis of the tribocouple endoprosthesis of the hip joint. Emphasis is placed on the tribocouple polymer liner / femoral head. There were studied the causes and mechanisms of wear and based on obtained information are made certain conclusions.
