Abstract (Croatian)

Jedna od tehnologija inženjerstva površina s najširom primjenom je toplinsko naštrcavanje koje spada u grupu postupaka u kojima se sitne čestice metalnih ili nemetalnih materijala u rastaljenom ili polurastaljenom stanju nanose na podlogu tako tvoreći naštrcani sloj. U ovom radu se uspoređuju dva postupka toplinskog naštrcavanja (APS – Air Plasma Spray i HVOF – High Velocity Oxy-Fuel) koji se koriste kod najzahtjevnijih aplikacija s naglaskom na otpornost prema trošenju. Promatra se utjecaj tehnoloških parametara na mikrostrukturu nanešene prevlake te samim time i na svojstva nanešene prevlake. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada su izrađeni uzorci koji su zatim laboratorijski ispitani i okarakterizirani. Rezultati su pokazali da se pravilnim odabirom i optimizacijom parametara mogu postići odlična svojstva nanešene prevlake. APS i HVOF postupak toplinskog naštrcavanja se primjenjuju u sve više primjera te su tako predložene moguće primjene ovih tehnologija u prehrambenoj industriji.

Abstract

One of surface engineering technology with the widest application is thermal spraying, which belongs to a group of procedures in which the fine particles of metal or non-metallic materials in the molten state or semi-molten state is applied to the substrate, thereby forming sprayed coatings. This paper compares two methods of thermal spraying (APS - Air Plasma Spray and HVOF - High Velocity Oxy-Fuel) which are used in the most demanding applications with a focus on wear resistance. The influence of technological parameters on the microstructure of coatings and thus the properties of the applied coating is observed. In the experimental part of the work samples are made and then tested in laboratory and characterized. The results showed that with proper selection and optimization of the parameters it is possible to achieve excellent properties of the applied coating. APS and HVOF thermal spraying process are applied in more and more examples and there are some proposed possible applications of these technologies in the food industry.
