Abstract (Croatian)

Drvo je građevni materijal za brojne vrste konstrukcija, uključujući i brodograđevne. Odlikuju ga jednostavna dostupnost, obradivost, trajnost i ekološka prihvatljivost. Drvo je tisućljećima bilo jedini konstrukcijski materijal u brodogradnji. Drvo je danas prvi izbor za gradnju nekih od najjednostavnijih brodica, ali i najekskluzivnijih jahti. U kombinaciji sa suvremenim kompozitnim materijalima, ono pruža izuzetna toplinsku i akustičnu izolaciju. Konstrukcije od drveta su veoma složene zbog njegovih svojstava , ortotropnosti, udjela vlage, temperature i sl. U radu je prikazana primjena drva kao građevnog materijala u brodogradnji. Analizirana su njegova najvažnija svojstva prema kriteriju čvrstoće. Proveden je i potom numerički modeliran test savojne čvrstoće sukladno ISO 13061-4. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na izradu i analizu materijalnog modela prikladnog za modeliranje drvenih konstrukcija te su radu su istražene mogućnosti analize drvenih konstrukcija primjenom dostupnog materijalnog modela u softverskom paketu LS Dyna.

Abstract

Wood is a buildin gmaterial for many types of structures, including shipbuilding. It is characterized by easy availability, workability, durability and eco-friendliness. Wood has been the only structural material in shipbuilding for centuries. Wood is now thef irst choice for the construction of some of the most simple boats, but also the most exclusive yachts. In combination with the modern composite materials, it provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. Constructions made of wood are very complex due to its properties, orthotropy, moisture content etc. This thesis analyses the application of wood as a building material in shipbuilding. The paper analyses the most important properties of wood according to the criterion of strength. First the experiment, and then a numerical model oft he test of bending strength of wood in accordance ISO 13061-4. A special emphasis is placed on the analysis of material model suitable for modeling of construction structures and the thesis examined the possibilities of analysis of construction structures using the available wood material models in the software package LS Dyna.
