In this paper simple genetic algorithms with haploid and diploid chromosome were compared theoretically and experimentally. Experiment was conducted on well known Oliver30 benchmark problem (Traveling Salesman Problem) and statistical results of the test were given. Furthermore, new dominance map was proposed which could be used in collaboration with integer alphabet and Coding with Reference List (CwRL). Finally, suggestions for the future research were given.
