Abstract (Croatian)

U radu je određena tvrdoća i lomna žilavost cirkonij oksidne keramike. Tvrdoća je ispitana metodom po Vickersusa opterećenjima 29,42 N (HV3), 49,03 N (HV5), 196,13 N (HV20), 294,20 N (HV30). Rezultati pokazuju da izmjerene vrijednosti tvrdoće ovise o opterećenju. Lomna žilavost (KIC) bazirana je na mjerenju duljina pukotina koje nastaju iz vrhova otisaka kada se četverostrana dijamantna piramida utiskuje na površinu uzorka cirkonij oksida. Za određivanje lomne žilavosti korištene su metode po Anstisu, Casellasu, Niihari te Palmqvistu. Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju da se tvrdoća i lomna žilavost mijenjaju s promjenom opterećenja.

Abstract

In this master's degree work are given hardness and fracture toughness of zirconia. Hardness was determined by Vickers hardness test with loads 29,42 N (HV3), 49,03 N (HV5), 196,3 N (HV20), 294,20 N (HV30). The results show that measured values of hardness depend about load. Fracture toughness is based on crack lenght measurements which appears from peaks of impression when square-based diamond pyramid impress on to sample surface of zirconia. Anstis's, Casellas's, Niihara's and Palmqvist's methods are used to determine fracture toughness. The results show that hardness and fracture toughness depend about load.
