Abstract (Croatian)

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada jest utvrditi utjecaj aktivacijskog premaza na mehanička i korozijska svojstva zavarenog spoja od nehrđajućeg visokolegiranog austenitnog čelika bez primjene dodatnog materijala. Za postupak zavarivanja odabran je TIG. U teorijskom dijelu rada opisani su i uspoređeni konvencionalan TIG i A-TIG postupak zavarivanja nehrđajućih visokolegiranih austenitnih čelika. Također su analizirani mehanizmi koji dovode do povećane penetracije kod primjene aktivacijskog premaza te je opisan i sam sastav takvih premaza. Na kraju je dan pregled postojećih primjera tehnologije zavarivanja uz primjenu aktivacijskih premaza. U eksperimentalnom dijelu zavareni su uzorci od nehrđajućeg austenitnog čelika AISI 304 s oba navedena TIG postupka, te su ispitivana i uspoređena mehanička i korozijska svojstva kod oba uzorka. Posebno je istražena mogućnost primjene aktivacijskog premaza kod zaštite korijena umjesto plina. Analizom rezultata ocijenjena je podobnost primjene aktivacijskog premaza obzirom na postignuta mehanička i korozijska svojstva.

Abstract

The aim of this graduation thesis is to determine the effect of the activation flux on the mechanical and corrosion properties of welded joints of stainless high-alloyed austenitic steel without the use of filler material. For the welding TIG process was selected. In the theoretical part description and comparison of conventional TIG and A-TIG welding of stainless high-alloyed austenitic steels is made. Also, mechanisms that lead to increased penetration by application of the activation flux are analyzed and described the composition of this flux. At the end of theoretical part a review of existing examples of welding technology with the use of the activation flux is given. In the experimental part the samples of austenitic stainless steel AISI 304 are welded with both of these TIG welding procedures, and the mechanical and corrosion properties are examined and compared. Particularly the possibility of applying the activation flux for the weld root protection instead of shielding gas is studied. By analyzing the results, suitability of the activation flux application was assessed due to achieved mechanical and corrosion properties.
