Abstract (Croatian)

Nekvalitetni premazi ili njihovo nekorektno nanošenje mogu dovesti do korozijskih procesa koji slabe konstrukciju broda. Osim korozije, nakon porinuća brod postaje podložan obraštanju. Ako podvodni dio brodskog trupa nije pravilno zaštićen dolazi do gomilanja mase koja uzrokuje povećanje otpora kao i mogućnosti oštećenja premaza što opet može dovesti do korozijskih procesa. S ekonomskog pogleda dodatna masa uslijed obraštaja uzrokuje smanjenje brzine i povećanje potrošnje goriva koja za sobom povlači veće novčane gubitke. U radu su teorijski obrađene i eksperimentalno ispitane dvije vrste antivegetativnih premaza, samopolirajući i premazi s topljivom matricom kako bi se dobio uvid u protuobraštajna svojstva premaza, njihovu korozijsku otpornost i otpornost na katodno odvajanje uslijed rada katodne zaštite. Ispitivanje je provedeno u Laboratoriju za zaštitu materijala na Fakultetu strojarstva i brodogradnje Sveučilišta u Zagrebu i na terenu u brodogradilištu „Brodotrogir“ u Trogiru. Abstract

Coating systems with poor quality or their incorrect application can lead to corrosion processes which could weaken the structure of the ship. Beside corrosion, after launching ship becomes subject of fouling. If underwater ship hull is not protected properly it can lead to accumulation of mass that causes an increase in resistance and the possibility of coating damage which can also lead to corrosion processes. From a economic view additional weight due fouling causes reduction in speed and increase fuel consumption, which entails greater financial losses. In this paper antifouling coatings are analyzed theoretically and tested experimentally on two types of antifouling, self-polishing and coatings with soluble matrix. Experimental part was made to gain insight into the properties of antifouling coatings, their resistance to corrosion and resistance to cathodic separation due to work cathodic protection. The survey was conducted in the Laboratory for the protection of materials at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture University of Zagreb and on the field in the shipyard "Brodotrogir" in Trogir.
