Abstract (Croatian)

Centralni toplinski sustavi (CTS) jedan su od načina kojima bi se mogli dostići ciljevi postavljeni EU direktivama o smanjenju potrošnje primarne energije. Samim time oni su od iznimnog interesa za Hrvatsku. CTS-i su izuzetno bitni radi mogućnosti efikasne proizvodnje i distribucije toplinske energije te zbog toga što omogućavaju implementaciju širokog opsega izvora energije. Prednosti koje dolaze s implementacijom CTS-a su znatne , a uključuju sigurnu opskrbu energijom, uštedu primarne energije te mogućnost reguliranja potrošnje energije. Napretkom tehnologija CTS-a se poboljšava i dobiva mogućnost razvoja novih tehnologija u proizvodnji topline poput dizalica toplina, kogeneracija na biomasu, modernih spalionica otpada itd. Kako bi se zadovoljile EU direktive, kao jedno od mogućih rješenja u Gradu Zagrebu je izgradnja postrojenja za termičku obradu otpada (TOO) u naselju Resnik. Time bi se, osim gore navedenog, našlo rješenje i za prekomjerno skupljanje otpada u Zagrebu, ali i drugim županijama sjeverozapadne (SZ) Hrvatske. Na pozicijama postojećih odlagališta ugradile bi se pretovarne stanice iz kojih bi se otpad odvozio do postrojenja za TOO i spaljivao, omogućivši dobivanje toplinske i električne energije, čime bi se pridonijelo cjelokupnom CTS-u. Napravljen je popis odlagališta po županijama te su skupljeni podaci o njihovim pozicijama (koordinate) te količini i sastavu skupljenog komunalnog otpada, nakon čega je napravljena projekcija otpada do 2030. godine. Potom je napravljena usporedna ekonomska analiza pogona spalionice otpada samo s otpadom na području Grada Zagreba te prilikom pogona spalionice korištenjem otpada i s područja ostalih županija SZ Hrvatske (uključujući prijevoz i pretovarne stanice). Na kraju je postavljena analiza utjecaja promjene vrijednosti otkupne cijene toplinske i električne energije te cijene otpada i biomase na isplativost investicije.

Abstract

District heating systems (DHS) are one of the elements that can help meet the goals set by the EU Directives for the reduction of primary energy consumption. Therefore, they are of high interest to Croatia. DHS are essential for their heat production that can be produced with a wide variety of energy sources with high efficiency. The advantage of DH systems are substantial and include secure heat energy supply, primary energy savings and possibility of regulating energy consumption. With technological advance, DH systems also improve so it is expected new technologies to be brought in terms of heat generation such as heat pumps, , biomass CHP, waste to energy plants (WtE plants) - incinerators etc. To satisfy EU Directives and regulatives, City of Zagreb and wide region around it (NW Croatia) decided to build plant for thermal treatment of waste in Resnik (Zagreb). Except for the above reasons, such a project could bring end to excessive waste collection in mentioned region. Today's landfills would be „converted“ into transfer stations from which deposited waste could be taken and brought to WtE plants for incineration. That way, generation of heat and electric energy could be made which should greatly contribute to whole DHS. List of all landfills in NW Croatia was made with collected data about composition and amount of waste which were later used for analysis and future waste prediction from now to 2030. Afterwards, comparative economic analysis was calculated for 2 cases: operation of incinerator with waste only provided from City of Zagreb and full operation of incinerator with extra waste brought from other counties of NW Croatia (including transport and transfer stations). In the end, analysis of the impact of changes in value was made between purchased price of heat and electric energy (including waste and biomass price) in addition to return of investment.
