Abstract (Croatian)

Kod određivanja mehaničkih svojstava materijala za kvalitetno provođenje potrebno je držati se propisanih normi struke, kao što je slučaj s izradom kalupa za ispitna tijela za materijale na bazi polimera. U tu svrhu po normama je konstruiran i izrađen pravokutni pločasti kalup od nehrđajućeg čelika u kojeg se ulijeva pripremljena suspenzija, za ispitivanje polimernih i kompozitnih materijala s polimernom matricom i mikro ili nanočesticama punila ili ojačala. Takav kalup skraćuje vrijeme potrebno za izradu normiranih ispitnih tijela od materijala na bazi polimera jer se vrši izravno prešanje u kalupu koji ima kalupne šupljine propisanog oblika i dimenzija namijenjenog za daljnja ispitivanja. U ovom radu, sukladno normama, detaljno su opisana ispitivanja mehaničkih svojstva za materijale na bazi polimera te napravljen izbor materijala za kalup za ispitna tijela kao i izbor tehnologije za izradu kalupa čime je dobiven konačan proizvod – kalup za normirana ispitna tijela na bazi polimera.

Abstract

When it comes to determination of mechanical properties of a material it is necessary to be in line with the prescribed standards, as it is the case with making molds for polymer based materials. For this purpose a rectangular plate type mold is constructed and crafted. The mold is made of stainless steel in which prepared suspension is flown for testing of polymeric and composite materials with the polymer matrix and the micro or nanoparticles or strengtheners. This type of mold shortens the time required for making standardized polymer based testing samples, since direct compression is performed to the mold that has the prescribed mold cavities and dimensions intended for further testing. In this thesis, in accordance with the standards, tests for mechanical properties of polymer based materials are thoroughly described. Material selection is made for this kind of mold, intended for producing testing samples. Also, a proper process for mold making was selected. The final product is made – testing samples mold for polymer based materials.
