Abstract (Croatian)
Ispitan je utjecaj predozonizacije i naknadne koagulacije na uklanjanje otopljenog organskog ugljika iz sirove bunarske vode. Ispitivanja su provedena za tri glavne grupe pokusa u kojima su se mijenjali razni parametri, kao što su doza ozona, pH vrijednost, koncentracija koagulanta željezovog(III) klorida i inicijalna kalcijeva tvrdoća sirove bunarske vode. Mijenjanjem navedenih parametara, najveći postotak uklanjanja otopljenog organskog ugljika (DOC) iznosio je 84% pri pH vrijednosti od 5,0 uz primijenjenu dozu željezovog(III) klorida od 35 mg/L i dozu ozona u predozonizaciji od 2,1 mg/L. Ozon se pokazao ključnim faktorom u poboljšanju učinkovitosti uklanjanja otopljenog organskog ugljika, budući da su vrijednosti uklanjanja DOC-a modificiranom koagulacijom do 60% niže u odnosu na postupak koji koristi predozonizaciju.
Abstract
The influence of preozonation and subsequent coagulation on the removal of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) from the raw groundwater is studied. The tests were carried out for three main test groups by changing various parameters such as ozone dose, pH value, ferric chloride concentration and calcium hardness of groundwater. The treatment efficiency was evaluated in terms of the reduction of DOC, which was used as a surrogate for natural organic matter (NOM). At the pH value of 5.0, applying a ferric chloride dose of 35 mg/L, preceded by preozonation under an ozone dose of 2.1 mg/L, resulted in a DOC removal efficiency of 84%. Preozonation treatment enhanced the reduction of NOM.
