Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom radu prikazano je idejno rješenje hibridnog energetskog sustava višenamjenskog putničkog broda za nacionalnu plovidbu. Sustav je sastavljen od dizel motora i elektromotora, koji uz konvencionalno dizel gorivo, koristi gorivne članke i baterije kao izvore električne energije. Na osnovi hidrodinamičke analize broda određena je snaga porivnog stroja. Proračunate su energetske potrebe pojedinih potrošača i sustava, te napravljena bilanca energije za tipične režime plovidbe odabranog putničkog broda. Specificirani su i opisani djelovi energetskog i propulzijskog sustava. Važan projektni cilj je i određivanje utjecaja hibridnog pogonskog rješenja na okoliš, pa je temeljem proračunatih snaga, potrošnje goriva sustava i emisijskih faktora određen indeks EEDI usporedno za hibridni i konvencionalni pogon putničkog broda. Analizirana je energetska učinkovitost i ekološka prihvatljivost broda, te primjenjivost metodologije izračuna EEDI na putničke brodove.

Abstract

This thesis analyzes the concept design of hybrid energy system of small multi-purpose passenger ship designed for navigation in the Croatian territorial sea. The system consisting of conventional diesel engine with power transmission and shaft electric motor, uses fuel cells and batteries as an electricity source. The required output power of propulsion engine is determined on the basis of hydrodynamic analysis results. Energy needs of individual consumers and systems are calculated, and the necessary balance of power is made for defined modes of navigation of the selected cruise ship. Parts of energy and propulsion systems are specified. Important design aim was to analyze the influence of hybrid drive solution on environment. On the basis of system's power, fuel consumption and emission factors, index EEDI is calculated for hybrid and conventional drive of a passenger ship. Energy efficiency and environmental acceptability analyses of the ship are made. Also, the applicability of the EEDI calculation methodology on cruise ships is analyzed.
