Abstract (Croatian)

Otpor trupa plovila osnovna je značajka pri projektiranju odgovarajućeg propulzijskog sustava plovila. Cilj ovog rada je eksperimentalno određivanje otpora plovila na ljudski pogon u ovisnosti o brzini za trupove sa i bez kormila prema postojećem natjecateljskom brodociklu Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Pokus je proveden s plovilom u prirodnoj veličini, a tegljenje plovila provedeno je prikladnim motornim čamcem. Rezultati pokusa uspoređeni su s rezultatima dobivenima numeričkim proračunom te su analizirana eventualna odstupanja dobivenih vrijednosti.

Abstract

The hull resistance is the main feature in the design of the corresponding propulsive system of the vessel. The aim of this paper is experimental determination of the resistance of the human-powered craft, depending on the speed of the hulls with and without the rudder according to the existing competitive waterbike of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of University of Zagreb. The experiment was performed with the full scale vessel and the towing of the vessel was carried out by the appropriate motor boat. The test results were compared with the results of numerical analysis and the possible deviations between the experimental and numerical values are obtained.
