Abstract (Croatian)

Temperatura je jedna od najčešće mjerenih veličina. Uređaji koji mjere temperaturu se nazivaju termometri, a oni koji reguliraju temperaturu su termostati. Njihove primjene su mnogobrojne, od osiguranja toplinske ugodnosti za ljude u različitim stambenim, industrijskim prostorima i vozilima do kontrole industrijskih procesa, kontrole temperature u uređajima široke primjene do sigurnosnih uređaja. U ovom diplomskom radu je prikazan pregled zahtjeva na parametre temperature u raznim tipovima prostorija i komora i vozila, te normi i propisa koji se odnose na te zahtjeve. U ovom radu je dan pregled postojećih tipova termostata obzirom na uvjete u kojima se koriste, pregled senzora za mjerenje temperature koji se u termostatima koriste, te je opisan utjecaj mjerne nesigurnosti, osjetljivosti, nelinearnosti i histereze na njihov rad. U radu je objašnjena teorijska podloga načina rada termostata sa gledišta automatske regulacije, te su prikazane neke od mogućnosti spajanja termostata na sustav grijanja odnosno hlađenja. Spajanje termostata tvrtke Nest je uzeto kao primjer spajanja na različite sustave. I posljednje, opisan je postupak umjeravanja temperaturnih senzora i temperaturnih indikatora.

Abstract

One of the most common measurements are temperature measurements. Devices that are used to measure temperature are called thermometers while devices used to control temperature are called thermostats. Thermostat applications can be found nearly everywhere, from residential, industrial building or vehicles in order to secure thermal comfort conditions, to temperature control in various appliances and as parts of safety devices. This master thesis shows an overview of temperature requirements set for various buildings, vehicles, chambers as well as standards and regulations complying with it. This thesis lists different types of thermostats and temperature sensors used with regards to the environment and working conditions. Measurement uncertainties, measurement sensitivity, non-linearity and hysteresis are explained. In this work, theoretical background of thermostat automation control is presented and various types of thermostat installation to HVAC system are suggested. Nest thermostat is taken as an example of thermostat connection to heating and cooling system. Lastly, an overview of temperature sensors and indicators calibration with corresponding diagrams and pictures is given.
