Abstract (Croatian)
U ovome radu je prikazano korištenje programa otvorenog koda kako bi se na jednostavan i jeftin način moglo modificirati konačne elemente za primjenu u analizi konstrukcija. Naime, komercijalni programi su često vrlo zatvoreni za implementaciju novih elemenata, te se mogu koristiti samo oni elementi koje posjeduje programski paket. Object Oriented Finite Element Solver (OOFEM) je besplatni program za analizu metodom konačnih elemenata sa objektno orijentiranom arhitekturom. U radu su prikazane mogućnosti OOFEM-a, problemi, analize, domene, elementi koji se mogu rješavati i koristiti, te njegova orijentiranost ka jednostavnoj nadogradnji. Korištenjem znanja iz metode konačnih elemenata, te upotrebom pogodnosti OOFEM-a, u program je implementirano nekoliko vrsta elemenata za analizu konstrukcija. Implementirani su elementi za ravninsko stanje naprezanja, element ploče i elementi ljuske. Svi elementi su testirani na njima prikladnim testovima, a takoder je dana i usporedba rješenja modela krila sa Nastran-om. Temeljem studija konvergencije na različitim testovima, izvedeni su zaključci o primjenjivosti pojedinih formulacija konačnih elemenata implementiranih u program OOFEM za analizu konstrukcije krila.
Abstract
Shown in this thesis is the usage of open source code for simple and cheap improvement of finite elements for structural analysis. Commercially available finite element method solvers are often very restrictive regarding implementation of new elements, and only elements provided by the solver are available for usage. Object Oriented Finite Element Solver (OOFEM) is a free finite element code with object oriented architecture. This thesis shows possibilities of OOFEM, problems, analyses, domains, elements that can be solved and used, and its orientation to extensibility. Using finite element method knowledge, and using OOFEM capabilities, several structural analysis finite elements were implemented. Plane stress, plate and shell elements were implemented. All elements were tested on suitable tests, and also a comparison of a wing model results with Nastran is provided. Using convergence studies on different tests, conclusions regarding applicability of certain finite elements, implemented in OOFEM, for wing structural analysis are provided.
