Abstract

Information technology applications and systems are essential to businesses and enterprises. Cloud computing is a technology able to provide computing as a service from large-scale data centers - or "clouds". Cloud computing is emerging as a technology for optimizing IT costs and supporting agility. This paper attempts to provide an overview of the current situation of Cloud computing by means of its implementation in business supply chain operations. In addition, current situation of cloud market in Croatia is given.
