Abstract

In this work, electrochemical measurements on aluminium alloy 6060 were conducted in distilled water in order to estimate the mathematical model and to evaluate uncertainty of measurement. Potentiodynamic polarization and Tafel fit were employed four times under the same pre-treatment procedure and the same experimental conditions. Results have shown deviation in collected parameters but rates of measurement uncertainty and expanded measurement uncertainty are acceptable for application in which aluminium alloy 6060 is commonly used.
