Abstract

In this paper, process capability of fire- resistance coating application, being a part of procedure for protecting steel structure, has been estimated on the basis of measurements of the total thickness of fire-resistance coating. Conditions, normality and process stability that need to be met before the estimation takes place have been defined in order to ensure proper interpretation of results. Results have been analyzed using trial version of Minitab software package. Results have been commented and compared in order to ensure their proper interpretation and improve the process of fire- resistance coating application.
