Abstract (Croatian)
U radu su navedene prednosti prevlačenja reznih alata od tvrdih metala, kao i utjecaj prevlačenja na njihova konačna svojstva. Na uzorke od tvrdog metala nanesene su TiN i TiN/TiCN tvrde prevlake uz pomoć plazmatski potpomognutog kemijskog prevlačenja iz parne faze (PACVD). Opisan je cjelovit postupak ispitivanja otpornosti na erozijsko trošenje, a rezultati su prikazani kao gubitak mase nakon 45 minuta trošenja kvarcnim pijeskom pod kutovima od 30°, 60° i 90°. Trošene površine su analizirane svjetlosnim i skenirajućim elektronskim mikroskopom. Prikazani su i rezultati hrapavosti površina prije i nakon trošenja erozijom. Prevučeni uzorci pokazuju bolju otpornost erozijskom trošenju pri ispitivanim kutovima u odnosu na neprevučeni uzorak, dok je do povećanja parametara hrapavosti nakon erozijskog trošenja došlo kod svih uzoraka.
Abstract
This paper states the advantages for use of coatings on hardmetal cutting tools as well as the influence of coatings on their final properties. TiN and TiN/TiCN hard coatings are deposited on hardmetal samples by Plasma-Assisted Chemical Vapour Deposition (PACVD). The entire procedure of examining erosion resistance is described, and the results are presented as weight loss after 45 minutes of wear with quartz sand at angles of 30°, 60° and 90°. Worn surfaces were analysed by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope. Results of surface roughness before and after erosion wear are shown as well. Coated samples showed better resistance to erosive wear at impact angles in relation to non-coated sample, while an increase in the roughness parameters after erosion wear occurred in all samples.
