Abstract (Croatian)

Uzdužna čvrstoća brodskog trupa može se nakon sudara ili nasukavanja značajno smanjiti zbog oštećenja i gubitka nosivosti uzdužnih elemenata strukture. Gubitkom svojstva vodonepropusnosti, a uslijed mogućeg prodora vode, moment savijanja na mirnoj vodi može značajno porasti. Smanjenje granične čvrstoće i promjena ukupnog opterećenja (mirna voda i valovi) uslijed oštećenja mogu dovesti do sloma konstrukcije. Nemogućnost predviđanja takvih događaja ukazuje na potrebu modeliranja parametara oštećenja kao slučajnih veličina te uvođenja novih probabilističkih modela smanjenja granične čvrstoće i promjene momenta savijanja na mirnoj vodi u jednadžbu graničnog stanja oštećenog broda. Cilj istraživanja je definirati probabilističke modele za nove varijable u svrhu određivanja vjerojatnosti sloma oštećenog trupa tankera za prijevoz nafte. Primjena istraživanja je u razvoju novih pravila za gradnju trupa, donošenju odluka o unesrećenom brodu u hitnim situacijama te u procjeni rizika pomorskog transporta u osjetljivim geografskim područjima.

Abstract

The longitudinal strength of the ship hull may be significantly reduced after collision or grounding due to damage and reduction of the bending capacity of the longitudinal structure elements. The loss of the watertight integrity and possible ingress of the water may lead to big change of still water bending moment (SWBM). The ultimate strength reduction and the change of the total load (still water and waves) may be a cause of structural failure of damaged ship. Due to inability of prediction of such accidents, it was necessary to model damage parameters as random variables, and to introduce the new probabilistic models for the reduction of the ultimate strength and the change of SWBM in the limit-state equation of damaged ship. The aim of this research is developing of the probabilistic models for new variables in structural reliability assessment of damaged oil tanker. Fields of the research application are developing of the new rules for ship construction, making decisions important for damaged ship in emergency situations and risk evaluation of maritime transportation in sensitive geographical regions.
