Products made by additive technologies are increasingly replacing the products made by classical procedures of polymer processing, e.g. injection moulding. The current market requires the products to be of good mechanical properties, low prices, and complicated geometry. With the procedure such as Fused Deposition Modelling it is possible to produce a product of relatively low price and good mechanical properties. In practice it is impossible to avoid manufacturing of products in different orientation in working area of machine, and using the products in various atmospheric conditions (e.g. UV radiation) either intentionally or unintentionally. It is therefore necessary to determine how orientation of products and UV light, after a longer exposure, affects the final mechanical properties of the products.
